British Airways to add three weekly Hong Kong-London services
Services to commence from March 2012 as Hong Kong is fast becoming an important stopover point en-route to Australia.
With effect from March 25, 2012, British Airways will be introducing three additional services per week between London and Hong Kong, complementing its double daily service between the two cities.
The additional service will be operated using a four-class Boeing 777- 200, featuring the airline’s award winning First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller cabins.
Hong Kong will grow in importance as a stop-over point en-route to Australia. British Airways has been working closely with one world partner Qantas to align its schedules in order to provide competitive transfer times for customers travelling to Australia, according to a British Airways report.
Kevin McQuillan, Regional General Manager East Asia said: “The introduction of the additional services between London and Hong Kong demonstrates British Airways’ continued commitment to this important city, while providing customers with greater choice and flexibility.”
