Cathay Pacific’s first class cabins look classier

Airline hires architects Foster + Partners for makeover.

Cathay Pacific Airways has enhanced and redesigned its first class suite with the help of the famous London-based architecture firm.

Toby Smith, general manager product for Cathay Pacific Airways, said the first class cabin have been outfitted with handmade sculptures by artists Maria Lobo and Linda Leviton.

Other improvements include a touch-screen controller for seat adjustments, a more adjustable meal table, cup holders, larger personal closets for passengers and larger space inside the console compartment for smaller personal items.
