Cathay Pacific hits post-pandemic milestone with over 2 million passengers

Cathay Pacific carried over two million passengers in July, marking a post-pandemic milestone.
In July, the airline saw its passenger volume increased by 15.1% YoY to 2,008,225.
Apart from passenger volume, the airline’s revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) and capacity measured in available seat kilometres (ASK) also increased, rising 16.1% YoY and 21.2 YoY, respectively.
The airline group’s passenger load factor, however, decreased by 3.8 percentage points to 85.5%.
Meanwhile, the airline’s cargo businesses reported positive volume growth, with total cargo carried rising 9.6% YoY to 126,797 tonnes.
