Cathay Pacific's March passenger volume up 42.4% YoY
The airline carried 1.88 million passengers.
Cathay Pacific saw a 42.4% YoY uptick in its passenger volume in March, carrying 1.88 million passengers last month.
Apart from passenger volume, the airline’s revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) and capacity measured in available seat kilometres (ASK) also increased, soaring 38.1% YoY and 48.9 YoY, respectively.
The airline group’s passenger load factor, however, decreased by 6.6 percentage points to 83.8%,
Meanwhile, the airline’s cargo businesses reported positive volume growth, with total cargo carried rising 10.5% YoY to 134,551 tonnes.
