HK Express expands with new route to Sanya
The airline plans to take advantage of an upcoming festival bound to happen in April.
HK Express Airways now offers new direct flights between Sanya Phoenix International Airport (SYX) in Hainan and Hong Kong International Airport, which will depart on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
“The launch of HK Express’ new route to Sanya will not only provide Hong Kong people with a fast and convenient flight option, but also deepen exchanges and co-operation between Hong Kong and the entire Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and Hainan Province, thereby further consolidating Hong Kong’s position as an international shipping hub.” HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao said in a press release.
Coinciding with the Sanya City Tourism Festival from April to June, HK Express hopes to take advantage of the new route opening and offer special discounts, so that more travellers can experience the fun of Sanya.

“Following the opening of the Beijing Daxing route in March this year, Sanya is HK Express’ second mainland destination this year. Together with the port in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, this further completes our presence in northern, eastern and southern China,” Mao said.
“This year, we will continue to increase the number of destinations in the Chinese Mainland, especially in second and third-tier cities, fully demonstrating our unique development concept of leveraging our advantages of having deep roots in Hong Kong, being proudly part of China, and connecting Asia.” Mao added.
