HK Express load factors exceed 97% in April amidst Easter holidays
Current bookings to North Asian destinations exceed 90% occupancy as Golden Week approaches.
HK Express Airways’ (HK Express) average load factors exceeded 97% amidst the Easter holidays in April, reflecting its strong business performance in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, demands for the airline’s services surge with the upcoming Labour Day Golden Week holiday.
Current bookings to North Asian destinations have exceeded 90% occupancy, with some routes to South Korea recording a booking rate of more than 95%.

“As the Golden Week nears, we have observed a steady rise in demand for travel from Chinese Mainland to Hong Kong as well as transit connections via Hong Kong to other cities across Asia,” Jeanette Mao, HK Express CEO, said.
“To better serve the Greater Bay Area market, HK Express is boosting the number of flights on popular routes within Southeast Asia, including our new services to Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, to commence on 25 April 2024,” Mao added.
In addition, the airline will increase its weekly number of flights between HK and Danang to 14, effective 28 April.
