HKIA passenger volume up 1% to 6 million in November
The monthly surge was driven by passengers to and from Japan and North America.
The aviation sector maintained its positive momentum in November after passenger volume inched up 1% to 6 million, according to the Hong Kong International Airport.
Visitor traffic rose 4% in November with Hong Kong resident travel growing 2%. Passenger traffic to and from Japan and North America recorded the most significant increases.

Flight movements also edged up 1.5% to 35,445 over the same period.
However, cargo and airmail throughput decreased slightly by 2% to 466,000 tonnes with traffic and to and from Europe and the Mainland falling the most in November. However, transshipments rose 3%.
