Kenya Airways to fly to Hong Kong
Direct flights from Dubai begins April 2.
Services will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on Boeing B767-300 aircraft. Flights will depart Dubai at 0600 and arrive Hong Kong 1810. The return flights depart 2120 and arrive in Dubai 0130 (next day).
Kenya Airways, Ltd. said the flights will improve connectivity between Africa and Asia. It will place Kenya Airways in competition against Emirates on the route, and follows the recent codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways.
Kenya Airways’ partners in the SkyTeam Alliance that includes Saudia will also benefit from the Dubai-Hong Kong flights.
Sources said Kenya Airways’ online return fares are comparable to those with Emirates.
The carrier's head office is located in Embakasi, Nairobi with its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
