More Kolkata to Hong Kong flights
Dragonair to have five flights a week starting October.
A subsidiary of Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Ltd or Dragonair, will increase its frequency between Kolkata, India and Hong Kong to five flights a week four at present.
Dragonair is the only airline that connects Hong Kong to Kolkata after Air India Express stopped its flight in 2012.
It currently flies between the two cities on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will also operate a flight on Thursday beginning October 4.
Dragonair said it is doing extremely well on the route, registering loads of up to 90%, necessitating another flight. The extra flight is aimed at leisure travelers during the Puja holidays.
