New route linking Hong Kong, Beijing Daxing Int’l Airport inaugurated
It will offer travellers more options between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.
A new route connecting Hong Kong and Beijing Daxing International Airport was inaugurated by HK Express on 12 March.
The new route will provide travellers between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong with more options and strengthen connections between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei city cluster and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
HE Express CEO, Jeanette Mao, highlighted the route's significance in the airline’s expansion within China and cited the airline's commitment to affordable, safe, and efficient travel.
“HK Express will continue to leverage Hong Kong's unique advantages as an international aviation hub and actively strengthen our ties with China,” she said at the inauguration ceremony.

The airline hosted the inaugural flight by inviting teachers, primary school students from The Lam Foundation, and education workers from The Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers for a study tour in Beijing.
Located on the border between Beijing, Langfang, and Hebei Province, Beijing Daxing Airport serves as a crucial aviation hub connecting these regions. Its four runways facilitate greater cross-border exchange and allow travellers to explore renowned Chinese cultural sites like Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall, and the Forbidden City.
