Passenger fuel surcharge gets slashed by 5%
And that's just foir short-haul flights.
According to the Civil Aviation Department, passenger fuel surcharges will be reduced in January.
The maximum fuel surcharges will be $230 for short-haul flights and $971 for long-haul flights, which represent reductions of 5% and 10%.
The applicable surcharge levels are based on the ticket issue date.
The maximum surcharges were $243 for short-haul flights and $1,081 for long-haul flights in November.
