livi bank wins Blockchain - Virtual Banking award at HKB Technology Excellence Awards 2022

The emerging Web 3.0 technology was used to launch its NFT collection, Mochi.

livi bank bagged a win in the Blockchain - Virtual Banking category at the recently held Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2022 for its use of the emerging Web 3.0 technology to create its non-fungible token (NFT) artwork collectibles.

In June 2022, livi launched its limited edition Mochi NFT artwork collectible, with over 1,800 Mochi NFT artworks being given to customers. Each Mochi NFT artwork is unique, exclusive and eternal for the lucky recipient—being non-exchangeable, non-tradable and non-transferable. Powered by livi’s cutting-edge technology, the Mochi NFT artwork offers customers a personalised experience that goes beyond banking.

The Mochi owners can download, share, and display their Mochi NFT artwork, such as their social media profile picture. 

The launch of NFT collection utilises emerging Web 3.0 technology, which showcases livi’s agile digital capabilities.

livi has also leveraged the Web 3.0 technology and progressed into the mataverse with the introduction of another first in the virtual banking world: the exclusive virtual space “liviCube." The exclusive virtual space in the metaverse was created to engage the curious and imaginative young talents who are interested in joining livi.
