Hong Kong’s Murray Building bought by Harbour Centre
Will convert former government office tower into a hotel.
Real estate company Harbour Centre Development Ltd. has until the end of 2018 to convert the 27-storey Murray Building built in the 1960s into a hotel while preserving its exterior.
The conversion will give Harbour Centre its second hotel in Hong Kong, The firm also owns the Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel in the Tsim Sha Tsui district. Harbour Centre is controlled by the family of billionaire Peter Woo.
