Buildings Dep't OKs 19 construction plans in March
The department also issued 25 occupation permits.
The Buildings Department approved 19 construction plans in March—six on Hong Kong Island, 11 in Kowloon, and two in the New Territories.
Twelve of the 19 approved plans were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, whilst two were for commercial properties. Another wo were for factories and industrial sites, and the remaining three were for community services development.
The department also approved 22 building projects in March, which provided 98,800 square metres of gross floor area for domestic use across 2,636 units.
A further 95,060 square metres were for non-domestic use; and 11 building projects for superstructure works.

The Building Department also issued 25 occupation permits— three on Hong Kong Island, 12 in Kowloon, and 10 in the New Territories— for buildings. A total of 503 units were allocated for domestic use, with a total gross floor are of 19,155 square metres combined. Meanwhile, a total of 81,197 square metres in gross floor area was allocated for non-domestic use.
