Gov’t approves 12 building plans in June
The approved plans are for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
The government approved 12 building plans in June with two in Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon, and seven in the New Territories.
Of the approved plans, seven are for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, one for commercial, two for factory and industrial, and two for community services developments.
An additional six building projects will provide 37,281 sq m of gross floor area (gfa) for domestic use, comprising 1,425 units, and 3,885 sq m of gross floor area for non-domestic use.
The government has also issued 18 occupation permits, including four on Hong Kong Island, nine in Kowloon, and five in the New Territories. These permits will provide 135,288 sq m of gfa for domestic use, comprising 3,237 units, and 44,179 sq m for non-domestic use.
In addition, the government received a notice to commence superstructure works for one building project.
Meanwhile, the government received 2,179 reports of unauthorised building works in June and issued 1,017 removal orders.
