
Hong Kong Housing Society all set to roll out Harmony Place project

According to Barclays, the Hong Kong Housing Society is ready to launch its Harmony Palace project in Shau Kei Wan.
This project is unique in that it is specially designed to address the issue of Hong Kong’s aging population.

The Housing Society will give priority to buyers who plan to rent a flat in the same block for their elderly relatives.
Statistics shows that people aged 65 or above will account for a third of Hong Kong’s population by 2041 compared with 14% currently.
Besides the 214 flats that are to be offered for sale, Harmony Place will also offer 60 flats for rental. The show flat in Cheung Sha Wan was open to the public during the past weekend and the first price list of 60 units was released at HK$13,838psf on average on a SFA basis.
