Lands Department sells Sha Tin non-industrial site for $619m

This was awarded on a 50-year grant.

The Lands Department has awarded to a subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties the tender for a non-industrial site in Sha Tin on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $619m.

In a statement, authorities said Sha Tin Town Lot No. 623 at Yuen Shun Circuit, Siu Lek Yuen was awarded to Fair Opal. 

The property has a site area of about 2,425 square metres (sq.m.) and is designated for non-industrial purposes, excluding use by godown, hotel or petrol filling station. It has a minimum and maximum gross floor area of 8,730 sq.m. and 14,550 sq.m., respectively.
