Property sales drop 9.6% MoM in June
Year-on-year sales increased by 24.1%.
The property segment saw lower sales in June, with 4,777 building units sold.
According to the Land Registry, the total sale for June was 9.6% lower than the May record and 24.1% lower compared to June 2022.
Of those sold, 3,613 were residential units. The number of sold residential units was down 9.7% from May and 25.1% lower than June 2022.
As the number of sold residential units dropped, the total consideration also decreased in June, falling 8.6% MoM and 25.5% YoY to $33.6b.
Overall, total considerations for all properties sold during the month dropped 11% MoM and 25.4% YoY to $39.7b.
