Eligible residents to receive $6,000 handout
$38 billion is set to be approved for the “Scheme $6,000”.
The first batch of payments will be paid out in November if the Legislative Council Finance Committee approves the funds on 8 July 2011.
Approximately 6.1 million residents will be eligible.
