HKCPEC meeting set for August 28
Public is welcome to the open session.
The Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (HKCPEC) announces that its 51st meeting is now open for public enrolment. HKCPEC Chairman Prof Stephen Cheung will chair the meeting.
The meeting will cover HKCPEC's participation at Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) events in the first half of 2013, and future domestic activities that HKCPEC will organize.
The meeting will be held at 3:00 pm in Room 1814, 18/F, Trade and Industry Department Tower, 700 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Kowloon. Those interested in attending the meeting are requested to enroll with the HKCPEC Secretariat by noon today (August 27). Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
HKCPEC was established in March 1990 to coordinate Hong Kong's participation in the PECC, a non-governmental organization established in 1980 to develop closer cooperation in trade and economic issues among economies in the region. PECC has 26 member committees, of which 23 are full members.
