The two economies will encourage the development of businesses with technology focus.
Hong Kong Director-General of Investment Promotion Stephen Phillips has signed an agreement with British Consulate-General Director General of Trade & Investment Paul McComb to boost investment in their respective economies.
The MOU will focus particularly on innovation and technology like AI, fintech, health tech, biotech, smart city, clean tech and the experience economy.
"The technology emphasis also reflects our increasing focus on innovation to further strengthen Hong Kong's economic development," said Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Edward Yau.
