Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets down by US$1b to US$390.5b in February
The reserve assets represent seven times the currency in circulation.
Hong Kong’s official foreign currency reserve assets decreased by US$1 billion to US$390.5 billion in February, the Monetary Authority said.
Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, foreign currency reserve assets at the end of February stood at US$382.6 billion.
The reserve assets represent seven times the currency in circulation, or 47% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
