Exports, imports in industrial property market edged up
Air-freight cargo data also grew.
Data released in August showed the total value of exports and imports in the industrial property market by 6.8% y-o-y and 7.5% y-o-y respectively in July.
According to a research report from JLL, air-freight cargo grew by 8.3% y-o-y, whereas container throughput only grew marginally by 1.6% y-o-y.
In other market news, sources indicate that S.F. Express’ new warehouse on Hong Wan Road in Tsing Yi is expected to be completed in 4Q14.
Also, Geodis Wilson expanded by 32,100 sq ft in Tuen Mun Distribution Centre.
