
Foreign currency reserves down to US$419.2b in October
Assets slipped slightly from US$419.3b in September.
Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets dropped to US$419.2b in October from US$419.3b in September, the Monetary Authority said.
Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, foreign currency reserve assets at the end of October dropped to US$410.9b from US$411b in September.
The reserve assets represent more than seven times the currency in circulation or 47% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
