
Foreign currency reserves in June up by US$1.3bn
Reserve reached US$277.2bn at the end of June.
Hong Kong's official foreign currency reserve assets amounted to US$277.2 billion at the end of June, up US$1.3 billion on May’s figure, the Monetary Authority says.
There were no unsettled forward contracts at the end of June and May.
The total foreign currency reserve assets represent about nine times the currency in circulation or 54% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
