Home & Youth Affairs Bureau launches family education scheme
Deadline for submissions is on 22 November.
The Home & Youth Affairs Bureau and the Family Council have launched a five-year “Funding Scheme on the Promotion of Family Education” and is inviting applications for the 2024 to 2025 period.
The scheme is aimed at subsidising non-profit family education projects that promote family values, enhance family well-being, and foster social harmony. For 12-month projects, the funding cap is set at $800,000, whilst 18-month projects may receive up to $1.2m.
Eligible projects can cover various family-related themes, such as education for new parents, parent-child relationships, family solidarity, and marriage. Applicants may also propose projects addressing other family-related topics.
The deadline for submissions is 22 November.
