Leung to attend high-level forum in Guiyang

Will meet with leaders of Pearl River Delta provinces.

Chief Executive, Leung Chun-ying will leave for Guiyang City, Guizhou on September 8 to attend the Ninth Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Cooperation and Development Forum and Trade Fair.

Leung will attend the opening ceremony, the High-Level Forum and a joint conference with leaders of the governments of various Pan-Pearl River Delta provinces and the Macau Special Administrative Region on September 9. He will also have bilateral meetings with some of the provincial leaders.

Included on the visit will be the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Gregory So; Director of the Chief Executive’s Office Edward Yau; Director of Information Services Michael Wong; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Carlson Chan; Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Chan Kin-ping and Assistant Director (Media) Nick Au Yeung.

During his absence, Chief Secretary for Administration Carrie Lam will be the Acting Chief Executive.
