Nominations are now open for the China International Business Awards 2021

Deadline for submission of entries is on 25 June 2021.

China's resiliency amidst the pandemic is slowly driving its momentum back on track. Recent efforts to stimulate the economy show a positive shift in foreign investment, and the drive towards better transparency and efficiency is giving a strong boost to many foreign firms investing in the country.

Indeed, it's business as usual for the second wealthiest country in the world.

As a way to recognise the contributions of foreign companies that have made a mark in China's bustling economy, Hong Kong Business is pleased to announce the call for nominations in China International Business Awards 2021.

Now in its second year, multinational companies from every industry are invited to participate in the event and nominate their most innovative projects and best practices to date.

Categories include aviation, banking, computer hardware, electronics, energy & power, F&B, healthcare, hospitality, IT services, materials and construction, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and transportation amongst others.

Some of its past winners include Johnson Controls (Food Manufacturing Solutions), Cityneon Holdings (Entertainment Experience), and Tricor China (Business Service).

"It's a great honour for us to receive the China International Business Award," said Cici Xi, director of global industrial refrigeration product technology in Asia for Johnson Controls.

The company, which is a global provider of products, technologies, software, and services for smart buildings, bagged the Food Manufacturing Solutions category for its low-charge central system (LCCS) last year.

"We think that it's not only a recognition for us but also to demonstrate our commitment to China's business food segment," she added.

Nomination is free of charge, and the deadline for submission of entries is on 25 June 2021.
