Hong Kong's official foreign currency reserve assets rose to US$267 billion in October, up by US$900 million on September, the Monetary Authority says.
There were no unsettled forward contracts at the end of October and end of September.
Hong Kong is the world's ninth-largest holder of foreign currency reserves based on the latest published figures, after the Mainland, Japan, Russia, Taiwan, India and Korea.
The total foreign currency reserve assets of US$267 billion represent over nine times the currency in circulation or 53% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
