
Passenger fuel prices to drop in May
Maximum fuel surcharges will be slashed by 16%.
The Civil Aviation Department said today that passenger fuel surcharges will drop in May.
The maximum fuel surcharges will be $214 for short-haul flights and $911 for long-haul flights, which represent decreases of 16% and 11%.
The applicable surcharge levels are based on the ticket issue date.
The maximum surcharges last month were $254 for short-haul flights and $1,027 for long-haul flights.
