
Passenger fuel prices to rise by 7%
It will take effect in April.
In a report, the Civil Aviation Department said that passenger fuel surcharges will rise in April.
The maximum fuel surcharges will be $254 for short-haul flights and $1,027 for long-haul flights, which represent increases of 5% and 7%.
The applicable surcharge levels are based on the ticket issue date.
The maximum surcharges last month were $242 for short-haul flights and $962 for long-haul flights.
