Did you apply for employees’ compensation? Your personal data could be lost somewhere

The Police has been informed about a missing document containing personal data of people that applied for employees’ compensation.

A report by the Information Services Department said the Labour Department has started a thorough investigation and been contacting those affected to apologise.

Meanwhile the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data has also been informed.

Assurance has been made that the incident will not affect the injured people’s claims process nor the compensation to which they are entitled.
