Gov’t adds 500 more for daily quota applications under Come2hk scheme

The Come2hk scheme involves travel of non-residents without quarantine.

The daily quota for applications under the Come2hk scheme, which involves removal of quarantine for non-residents entry to Hong Kong, was increased from 1,000 to 1,500, the government said.

According to the website, the scheme involves removal of mandatory quarantine measures for non-residents coming from Guangdong Province or Macao to Hong Kong.

However, the daily quota for entering Hong Kong through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port remains at 1,000.

Government reminded that people who plan to use such a travel scheme to enter Hong Kong must first apply through the online booking system.

“The Hong Kong Special Administrative Government will closely monitor the operation of the scheme, maintain close liaison with the Guangdong Provincial Government and make timely adjustments to the arrangements where necessary,” the government added.
