Chan Kwok-ki named Director of Immigration

The State Council has approved the promotion of Deputy Director of Immigration Chan Kwok-ki to Director from March 28.

According to Hong Kong Information Services Department, he will succeed Simon Peh who is retiring after 33 years' government service.

He joined the department as an Assistant Immigration Officer in October 1982. In April 2007, he was promoted to Assistant Director and Deputy Director in September 2009.
