Warning out on bogus Westpac Banking website
Westpac denies connection with the site.
The Monetary Authority has issued an alert on a fraudulent website purporting to be the official Westpac Banking Corporation site.
The fake website has the domain name https://www.hkys.hk/language/en-GB/westpac/index.htm.
Westpac has clarified it has no connection with the site.
The Monetary Authority urged people who have provided personal information to, or conducted financial transactions through the bogus site, to contact Westpac on 2842 9920 or Police.
