Average Hongkonger would take 11 work days to afford latest iPhone

The average salary in the country is $17,728 gross monthly.

A report by Picodi.com found that an average Hong Konger would have to work for 10.8 days in order to buy the latest iPhone, slightly less than the 11.2 work days needed in 2022.

Picodi.com said the news iPhone 15 Pro with 128 gigabytes of storage was priced at $8,599, the same as the price last year.

The average wage in Hong Kong is  $17,728 gross monthly or $16,658 net, Picodi.com said, citing data from the Census and Statistics Department.

Switzerland’s citizens can earn enough money to afford the latest iPhone in the shortest amount of time at 4.2 days.

Whilst Turkey placed last as they have to work around 123.7 for Apple’s latest release.
