HSBC Life reveals new leadership appointments
Winnie Ching, Raj Kumar, and Alison Law will report to CEO Greg Hingston.
HSBC Life has announced key appointments to its senior leadership team, who will all be based in Hong Kong.
All three appointments will also report to Greg Hingston, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Global Insurance and Partnerships.
Winnie Ching will serve as the Global Head of Product starting from 6 November. Before taking the role in HSBC Life, Ching held various management positions in Swiss Re in the past decade. Her latest position was the Chief Risk Officer for Asia and Global Head of life and health risk management.
Raj Kumar has been appointed as the Global Head of Customer and Marketing, commencing on 13 November. Kumar held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Silicon Valley Bank in the UK and the EMEA and is currently the HSBC Innovation Banking.

Alison Law will assume the role of Global Head of Distribution, beginning on 22 December. Law is returning to HSBC from Hang Seng Bank, where she’s the Head of private banking and trust services. Prior to Hang Seng Bank, she was with HSBC for more than 25 years playing various roles in insurance, strategy, distribution, and wealth management.
The insurer said these strategic appointments are instrumental in advancing HSBC Life's long-term growth strategy, further strengthening the HSBC Group's position as a prominent international wealth manager, with a particular focus on the Asian market.
