Prudential Hong Kong forms alliance with 7 local hospitals
This partnership aims to build a healthcare ecosystem in Hong Kong.
Prudential Hong Kong has collaborated with seven local hospitals and clinics to create a patient-centric healthcare ecosystem in Hong Kong.
This partnership aims to optimise resource utilisation, professional expertise, and complementary networks to provide customers with accessible, and high-quality medical protection.
The alliance includes Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong with Chiron Medical Group, Hong Kong Baptist Hospital with Medicare Group, and Union Hospital with Total HealthCare Specialists Centre and Alliance Medical Centre.
The partnership offers a Medical Expenses Direct Billing Service, which simplifies medical expense planning for customers.
Eligible patients needing surgical intervention will be referred to partner hospitals, with clinics seeking Prudential’s pre-approval for medical costs and arranging direct billing.
Prudential will settle the pre-approved expenses directly, alleviating cash-flow concerns for customers.
Prudential will also establish exclusive counters at partner clinics for priority services and assistance.
The seven partner institutions, located across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories, provide customers with flexible location options for medical services.
Dedicated teams at these hospitals will offer administrative support and more efficient healthcare services.
