Prudential reels Anette Bronder for newly established role
Bronder will oversee technology and operations, focusing on shaping the organization's target operating models.
Prudential has appointed Anette Bronder as chief technology & operations officer, a newly established position within the company.
Reporting directly to CEO Anil Wadhwani and joining the group executive committee on 1 May, Bronder will be based in Hong Kong.
In her role, Bronder will oversee technology and operations, focusing on shaping the organization's target operating models to enhance financial and operational efficiency, leverage economies of scale across 24 markets, and enhance customer experience.
This appointment aligns with Prudential's business strategy announced in August 2023, aiming to bolster organizational capabilities.

Previously responsible for technology, Solmaz Altin, managing director of the strategic business group, will now shift focus to growing Prudential's health business and leading his group.
Chief information technology officer Ashley Veasey will report to Bronder, as they jointly work on enhancing the technology function.
Bronder joins Prudential from KPMG, where she served as a partner, leading digital transformation programs in the insurance sector. Her prior experience includes roles as group chief operating officer at Swiss Re and various senior positions in technology and telecommunications.
