Sun Life Hong Kong announced the expansion of its healthcare offerings to address the growing mobility between Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Targeting residents working or retiring in Mainland China and Mainland residents travelling to Hong Kong, the enhanced services include an expanded list of designated hospitals in Mainland China and an upgraded Cashless Arrangement Service.
This move responds to the increasing demand for cross-border medical services, driven by demographic shifts and government support for medical collaboration between Guangdong and Hong Kong.
With the expanded hospital list covering over 4,200 facilities, including Grade 3 hospitals and private hospitals in Mainland China, Sun Life Hong Kong aims to meet the diverse medical needs of clients.

The cashless arrangement service, now extended to nearly 2,000 hospitals, offers coverage for eligible medical expenses during hospitalisation.
Clients in both regions can access comprehensive medical support services through eSunPro, a one-stop healthcare service platform. Unique features include Comprehensive Genomic Profiling, Local Urgent Care, and a Cancer and Stroke Family Support Program in Hong Kong.
In Mainland China, services like AdvicePro for second medical opinions and a VIP Medical Navigation Service enhance the cross-border healthcare experience. Sun Life Hong Kong also collaborates with HealthMutual Group Limited to improve medical claim support in the Greater Bay Area, ensuring a tailored experience for clients.
The exclusive eSunPro platform offers a holistic healthcare solution for Sun Life Hong Kong's eligible insurance plan clients, covering initial diagnosis to post-treatment care.
