Hong Kong Disneyland turns profit for the first time

Mickey Mouse takes home a whopping HK$109m net profit.

After seven years of operation, Hong Kong Disneyland has finally reported a net profit of HK$109 million for the fiscal year ending September 29, 2012.

The world renowned park has been reporting consecutive net losses since its 2005 opening. Last year, it came at a disappointing net loss of HK$237 million.

HK Disneyland also came in as a winner in revenue game jumping 18%  to HK$4.27 billion.

These record-breaking figures can be attributed to Hong Kong's strong tourist arrivals last year.
