Early September average daily table revenues solid at HK$605m
Monthly GGR could decline 30% y/y, however.
It has been noted that the average daily table revenues for the period 1-6 September in Macau gaming were strong at HK$605 mn.
According to a research note from Barclays, this data was higher than August full-month that saw HK$550mn per day table revenue.
It is also similar to the last eight days of August (24-31 Aug) that saw HK$607 mn per day table revenue.
Here's more from Barclays:
September GGR could see a 30% y/y decline, 4% m/m decline: Assuming daily revenues are at HK$530 mn for the rest of September (using a slightly lower rate than the full month average daily rate for August), plus HK$1bn assumed for slots, we expect September full month's gross gaming revenue (GGR) to be down 30% y/y to HK$17.4 bn.
This would be a narrower decline than the 35.5% y/y decline in August and the 34.5% y/y GGR decline seen in July.
