Trading in Birmingham’s shares remains suspended
The football club operator said however that its chairman’s alleged offences were not company-related.
A Reuters report said, “Last week, English soccer club owner Carson Yeung was released on bail of HK$7 million ($950,000) after being charged with money laundering by a Hong Kong court.”
Trading in the Hong Kong-listed company's shares, according to the report, will remain suspended since June 30 pending a statement regarding the incident and the company's financial position.
