Capital Investment Entrant Scheme draws high interest
InvestHK received over 1,600 inquiries about the scheme.
The new Capital Investment Entrant scheme has recorded double-digit applications and over 1,600 enquiries since its launch on 1 March, the Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) announced.
The department revealed that the applications were from high-net-worth individuals of different nationalities.
Meanwhile, about 70% of inquiries were from professional service providers about application procedures, eligibility criteria, and permissible investment assets.
“It shows strong confidence among high-net-worth individuals in the stable business environment and the diverse investment opportunities Hong Kong has to offer," Alpha Lau, director-general of investment promotion, said.
Lau added that InvestHK will continue to promote the scheme to various business associations, international stakeholders, family offices, and professional service providers.
