CapitaMalls Asia says it’s under no funding pressure

The Singapore firm, which has announced its secondary listing in Hong Kong, will issue bonds instead of borrowing from banks.

A report on Reuters said the shopping centre developer will not rely on “increasingly expensive bank borrowing”. It will be issuing bonds as a form of cheaper financing.

This was revealed by Chief Executive Lim Beng-chee.
