Everbright Water-led consortium bags Jiangyin High-tech Plant development
The engineering, procurement, and construction cost around $41.6m.
A consortium led by China Everbright Water has secured Stage I of the first phase of the Jiangyin High-tech Zone Wate Water Treatment Plant project where it will provide cover design, procurement, construction, and operation services to the plant.
In a statement, Everbright Water said that Phase I Stage I will complete the civil engineering works and the procurement and installation of necessary equipment.
The stage will also involve the establishment of a supplementary network of wastewater collection pipelines, and tailwater wetlands for an ecological buffer zone.

The project’s engineering, procurement, and construction, excluding the wastewater treatment service fee, is estimated at around $41.6m (RMB297m)
Everbright will be mandated to provide operation and management services to the project and will be entitled to collect the wastewater treatment service fee for eight years.
Its subsidiary Xuzhou Municipal Engineering Design will handle the project’s design.
Other consortium members will lead the project’s procurement and construction.
