HKEX to launch 3 new stock option classes

The new option classes will be available on 6 March.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) will introduce three new stock option classes on 6 March.

These are SenseTime Group Inc (20), Zhongsheng Group Holdings Limited (881), and Innovent Biologics Inc (1801).

The contract size of the new option classes is 20,000, 1,000, and 1,000, respectively. 

Meanwhile, the bourse also reported that its derivatives market had a robust 2022, with average daily volume rising 11%  to a record 1,302,889 contracts. 

“The momentum has continued into 2023, with average daily volumes in January up 22% from a year earlier,” HKEX added.
