BOCHK warns customers of two fraudulent websites
Customers who used these sites are strongly urged to contact BOCHK immediately.
Bank of China (Hong Kong) (BOCHK) has warned of two fraudulent websites posing to be from the bank:
- hxxps://www[.]lts-bochk[.]com/
- hxxps://lts-bochk[.]com/
BOCHK said that these websites feature a login page that intends to steal customers’ data, such as internet banking number, usernames, and passwords.
“BOCHK declares that it has no connection with the fraudulent websites. Meanwhile, the case has been reported to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Police Force,” the bank said in a press release.
The bank reminded customers to access BOCHK’s internet banking or mobile banking accounts by typing the website address of BOCHK directly into the browser address bar: www.bochk.com.

Alternatively, BOCHK customers are advised to use the official mobile application downloaded from official app stores or reliable sources.
“Customers should not access such accounts or provide personal information (including passwords) through hyperlinks, QR codes or attachments embedded in e-mails or on websites,” BOCHK added.
Customers who have logged into the aforesaid fraudulent websites and provided personal information are encouraged to immediately contact BOCHK Customer Service Hotline at (852) 3988 2388 (press 3, # and 2 after language selection).
