HK issues 9 pre-sale consents for property developments in Q2

Most are residential developments.

The Lands Department issued nine pre-sale consents for residential and non-residential developments in the second quarter of 2023.

Of the nine, six were issued for residential developments involving a total of 2,949 residential units that are scheduled to be finished in 2025.

Two developments in Kai Tak are composed of 1,162 units. A development in Yau Tong consists of 228 units whilst one development in Tuen Mun has 534 units, and one in Yuen Long includes 1,025 units.

The other three pre-sale consents belong to non-residential developments.

As of the end of June, 44 applications for pre-sale consent for residential developments with a total of 21,840 residential units and three for non-residential developments were being processed.

The department is also handling three applications for consent to assign involving a total of 2,748 residential units.
