Vario opens Hong Kong office
The expansion follows the firm’s launch in Australia and Singapore.
Flexible law firm-led solutions provider Vario is expanding to Hong Kong, hiring Axiom’s APAC co-founder and former managing director Kirsty Dougan.
Vario’s Hong Kong launch is in direct response to increased demand across the region, says its managing director Matthew Kay.
Vario is a part of Pinsent Masons, an international law firm specialising on energy, infrastructure, financial services, real estate and advanced manufacturing and technology sectors. Vario is a platform of freelance lawyers to take on a variety of assignment for clients that prefer flexible resources.

“We have ambitious growth targets both in Hong Kong and globally and we’re looking to recruit a substantial number of legal consultants in Asia over the next 12 months. We are looking to hear from lawyers who are keen to work more flexibly,” Kay said.
